I’m not someone who ever set my mind on running for office. Definitely not of my entire home “town.” Within months.

Alas, I’m answering a call to put my name on the ballot and say some words that so many of us are thinking (and lamenting to our friends).

The foundation of the government is the people. And in order for The People to do their jobs, they need a true sense of ownership.

• Modernized and community-centric government

• Prioritization of true small businesses

• Sustained identity through preservation of the city’s tapestry of communities

• Affordable housing … without the rats

I’m still not sure how far this will go, but I certainly invite you to join your intellectual capital with mine to see what we can build. Together, we can all WIN.
